Double circuit capacity with a move to bidirectional high density CWDM

High density coarse wavelength division multiplexing (HD CWDM) transceivers from Proline double your circuit capacity over your existing CWDM configuration. By utilizing each channel discretely for carrying bidirectional signals, you avoid altering your current cabling plant, instead upgrading only the transceivers at each output.

When expanding & building campus networks, carrier Ethernet, and wireless backhaul/fronthaul, each re-cabling requirement avoided means delivering high performance capacity improvements with minimal cost and efforts.

What is wavelength division multiplexing (WDM)?

WDM is a configuration in which optical transmissions are sent simultaneously at different wavelengths along the same fiber. The concept is similar to how passes light through a prism to refract, but is re-assembled. You mix your light at one end (multiplexing), and then un-mix them at the end (demultiplexing).

Why do we need HD CWDM?

Proline HD CWDM transceivers don't just expand your capacity. They work tirelessly to double your circuit capacity over standard CWDM, minimizing time and expense.

Network operators can overlay new services on existing fiber optic networks without the capital investment of adding new fiber or exhaustively purchasing new network equipment.
